AGC OF MISSOURI/YEC MAKES DONATION. . . Since 2010, AGC of Missouri and the Young Executives Club (YEC) have budgeted a portion of event revenues (Summer Golf Tournament, Sporting Clays Tournament) for a monetary donation to a worthy recipient. The money donated this year ($3000) will be used by LSTC's Construction and Civil Technology Program, which will be used to help match federal grant funds for the purchase of surveying and other instructional equipment to be used by students as part of their curriculum. Linn State Technical College has been a valued partner with AGC of Missouri and several of its graduates have gone on to work in the Industry for various AGC Members across Missouri. This was the 2nd successive year the YEC suggested and approved a donation to LSTC. The 2010 donation was applied to the Heavy Equipment Operations Program.
