This course is to develop an awareness of exposure/ risks associated with bloodborne pathogens. Featured topics include an Introduction to Bloodborne Pathogens Standard, the Exposure Control Plan, Exposure Determination, Methods of Control, Vaccinations and Evaluations, Training and Information, and Recordkeeping. The use of Automatic External Defibrillators (AED's) is on the rise, and working knowledge of these devices can be crucial in an life-saving situation.
The CDC has approved this course as a refresher.
