Qualified Crane Signalperson - Part 1 (JL-3)

Operation SafeSite is conducting third party qualified evaluator signal person classes in accordance with OSHA's Construction Crane Standard. The benefit of this course is that while your company may train you with a qualified evaluator, you will only be recognized by OSHA as a qualified signal person only for that company. Training conducted by a third party evaluator is recognized by OSHA for any employer that attendee may work for.
Training will be conducted in the following items:
1. Standard Method for Hand Signals
2. Radio Signals Protocol
3. Competency in Application of Signals
4. Basic Understanding of Equipment Operations and Limitations
5. Basic Understanding of Crane Dynamics (Swinging, Stopping, Boom Deflection)
6. Know and understand the relevant requirements of 1926.1419 - 1926.1422 & 1926.1428
7. Pass a written and practical test
