Basic Rigging - Part 2 (JL-4)

Operation SafeSite is conducting Basic Rigging classes in accordance with OSHA's Subpart CC Construction Crane Standard and Subpart H Materials Handling/ Rigging Standard. This is a basic course designed for workers, foremen, and supervisors to acquaint them with the following items.
Training will be conducted in the following items:
1. Intro/ Basic Rigging Requirements
2. Rigging - general requirements
3. Sling, Chain, Wire Rope Inspection
4. Shackles, Hooks, Clips, Eyes Inspection and use
5. Basic Hitches/ Configurations
6. Review of CFR Tables H1 - H20
7. Examples of rigging in the field
