2017-2018 Young Executives Club Scholarship Program
One of the Young Executives Club's goals in 2016 was to revive the former scholarship program for college-bound students of AGCMO members pursuing a construction related degree from a four-year or vo-tech college.   The Club has been working hard to raise funds and is on track to award scholarships in the spring of 2017.  Scholarship criteria and an application are posted on the AGCMO web page under the "Education" tab, or you can click here to access.  Applications must be returned to AGC of Missouri or postmarked no later than April 1, 2017.

Fall 2017 - AGCMO/MoDOT Regional Roundtable Meetings
AGCMO is working hard to stay connected.   Fall will bring two Regional Roundtable meetings with MoDOT:    Monday, September 25 at MoDOT's Chesterfield/St. Louis District office; and Wednesday, September 27 at MoDOT's Sikeston District Office.    The roundtable meetings are a spin-off of the Annual Co-op Meeting held in December, and all AGC members and guests are invited.  MoDOT District leadership and staff  participate in these meetings, which are an opportunity to have open dialogue in an informal setting.  Contact Alan Reinkemeyer with questions, phone 573.636.3188.
AGCMO is proud to partner with Lindsay Transportation Solutions, based in Rio Vista, CA and offer a presentation about the "Road Zipper - Moveable Barrier System" at the fall Roundtable meetings.  Laura Huizinga, Regional Manager, and Ann Schneider will make a presentation on the Road Zipper System, which is designed to cost-effectively increase capacity and reduce congestion by making more efficient use of new or exiting roadways.  Continuing education credits will be issued.   Road Zipper:  How it Works

Highway Division Committees
There are several committees specifically working on Heavy/Highway/Infrastructure issues.
Bridge Committee - Regular meetings are held with AGCMO contractors and MoDOT representatives to review and discuss issues of specific interest to bridge contractors, including items such as abutment treatments, bridge approach construction, and other issues.
Grading Committee - This committee also meets regularly with MoDOT representatives to work on grading issues such as erosion control and other items.
Environmental Committee - The Environmental Committee is comprised of industry professionals who monitor EPA and Missouri DNR policies, regulations and proposed legislation to help ensure no adverse impacts to the construction industry.
Executive Safety Committee - Safety representatives from AGCMO member companies meet with MoDOT personnel to insure proper safety techniques and practices are in place.

Highway Division members are encouraged to participate in any or all of these committees.  Contact Alan Reinkemeyer for more information.
