What is the Young Executives Club?

It's informative, interesting and thought-provoking. It is designed to be a hands-on participative experience and provide an excellent opportunity to learn about the nuts and bolts of the construction industry, meet and confer with others facing the same or similar opportunities and problems and become more familiar with criteria required to lead a company or an industry.  The Young Executives Club of the AGC of Missouri was started in 1988.

Club members will be challenged to actively participate in meetings. Each meeting will focus on a different area of concern. Meetings are geared to provide participants with an increased knowledge and insight into the many functions and realities of the construction industry.

Meeting formats vary, but may include such things as panel discussions, interesting field trips, group interaction and knowledgeable speakers. Current industry leaders and experts will participate in the meetings with the intent of stimulating and provoking new thoughts and ideas.

The Young Executives Club was developed to meet the following objectives:

 1. Provide valuable and interesting information about the industry;

 2. Create unique opportunities for dialogue and rapport between the participants and existing industry leaders;

 3. Stimulate and increase the level of commitment and participation in the industry; and

 4. Build an esprit de corps among members to facilitate working together on present and future projects.
