General Information
The Associated General Contractors of Missouri is the leading organization representing heavy, highway and municipal-utility contractors. Founded in 1925, the AGC allows Missouri contractors to speak to the Governor, state Legislature and state agencies with a unified voice on matters of public policy affecting the industry. The AGC provides services to its members to help them improve and excel in day-to-day operations. Membership in AGC of Missouri allows members access to other state and national groups, most import ntly is AGC of America. In this day and age it is important for contractors to be informed about new government rules and regulations, safety and health issues, labor trends and pending legislation. All of these topics and more are covered in regular publications issued to all members by the AGC. The Association publishes information regarding the Missouri Highway Lettings. Members are updated with Labor Bulletins, Legislative Bulletins, Insurance Bulletins, Tax Bulletins and Crime Alert Bulletins. In-depth information is offered to the membership through Professional Training in Partnering, Metric, Safety, Total Quality Management and Supervisory Training Programs (STP).
