Associated General Contractors OF Missouri Hall of Fame Guidelines
Purpose
To highlight and recognize the careers and achievements of those members, both past and present, who through their dedication, hard work, and contributions to the construction business have been positive influences on their industry and their communities.Nominating Guidelines
The nominating process will start with a solicitation of AGC of Missouri members by mail, beginning in August. By accessing the AGC of Missouri website members can download a nomination form that will be submitted to a Hall of Fame Committee. The nomination procedure will be based on the nominator’s ability to convey the nominee’s contributions to the construction industry, as well as contributions to the AGC and their communities. Nominations for consideration must be received by the AGC no later than December 15. The recommendation of applicants will be reviewed and voted on during a meeting of the aforementioned committee which will convene in January. Upon successful vote by the Hall of Fame Committee, the applicant will be notified of award and invited to attend an induction ceremony that will take place during the AGC of Missouri Annual Convention.Hall of Fame Committee
A committee consisting of seven (7) members will be appointed by the Chairman to a three (3) year term. The Committee will meet sometime in January at the discretion of the Chairman. The President of the Association will also be a committee member.Display Area
An area of the AGC of Missouri office located at 1221 Jefferson Street, Jefferson City, Missouri will be dedicated to display HOF inductee’s information. All regional news media from the inductee’s home area will be notified via press release of the inductee’s accomplishment and induction.Print a Hall of Fame Nomination Form
