"Business Attraction in Missouri"
Speaker:  Subash Alias, CEO, Missouri Partnership

Missouri Partnership is a public-private economic development organization focused on attracting new jobs and investment to the state and promoting Missouri's business strengths. Missouri Partnership works in partnership with the Hawthorn Foundation, the Missouri Department of Economic Development, the State of Missouri, and economic development agencies across the state.

Their broad suite of site selection consultation services puts businesses in the best position possible as soon as they decide to move or expand to Missouri. End-to-end support doesn't always come easy—thus a different approach than most for aiding business growth. Missouri Partnership aims to offer the quality support companies need, that includes:
  • Vetting available sites
  • Locating new or existing buildings
  • Compiling information on communities and workforce
  • Determining eligibility for business incentives
  • Coordinating customized labor training
  • Identifying utility availability and costs
  • Facilitating meetings with state government agencies and potential strategic partners

Missouri Partnership wins through a combination of community preparedness, a high level of customer service, a focus on understanding each company's unique needs, and working with our partners around the state to find solutions for those needs efficiently and effectively. This high-touch concierge approach, combined with Missouri's strengths, allows us to compete for business attraction projects to win new jobs, new investment, and new payroll for Missouri and Missourians.

This session will give you insights into how we win, the process behind our success, and the latest business attraction trends.
