Mobile Elevated Work Platform Training


Mobile elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) is a new standard designed to improve and enhance safety equipment standards to be similar to the international standards. This creates more competition in the global marketplace when providing for companies and equipment manufacturers. Understanding the new ANSI A92 Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWP) standards and classifications. Aerial work platforms are now known as mobile elevating work platforms (MEWP). Machines will now be broken up into groups instead of being classified for equipment type. If a mobile elevated work platform is able to maneuver past the tipping lines, it is considered a group B.

Mobile Elevated Work Platforms Classified into 3 Types:
  • Type 1 work platform can be driven when the platform is not elevated
  • Type 2 is when equipment can be driven elevated but operated from the chassis
  • Type 3 allows the operator to control the work platform when elevated
This training will meet the requirement of the 2018 ANSI A92.22-2018.

$75 - AGC Members (St. Louis-Kansas City Regional Council Union Carpenters in Good Standing - No Charge)
$140 - Non-AGC Members
