Excavations Protective Systems - Part 1 (A-1)

The excavation safety course covers preplanning aspects of the project, soils classification, and the three major types of protective systems: sloping or benching of the trench walls, shoring the trench walls, and placement of trench boxes to protect the worker(s). Utility locating services, and rescue awareness are also presented.
