This course familiarizes contractor personnel with Corps of Engineers Construction Quality Management concepts and procedures.
Training will include Contractor's Review; Quality Management Planning; Preconstruction Conference and Coordination Meeting; Submittals; Quality Management during Construction; Making the System Work; Resident Management System overview (RMS 3.0), a contract administration computer program.
To successfully complete this course, the student must be present for the full day of online class and achieve a passing grade of 70 on the test given at the end of the course. A certificate will be issued to all students who satisfactorily complete the course. This certificate is valid for 5 years.
The one-day class will be held on the Zoom platform. The tests will be delivered and turned in using fillable pdf forms. Participants will need a laptop, PC, or tablet with Adobe Acrobat Reader (free) installed for the fillable forms and with the Zoom Meeting software installed for class (free).
