Excavation Competent Person Training

This course is for those individuals involved in working in or around excavation, trenching, and confined spaced operations. This course will include the explanation of OSHA's excavation standards, soil classification, and protective systems requirements, access and egress, exposure to falling loads and traffic, water accumulation, and hazardous atmospheres along with rescue planning.

This course will also cover the New Construction Confined Space Standard, §Subpart AA of 29 CFR §1926, that sets requirements for practices and procedures to protect employees engages in construction activities at a worksite with one or more confined spaces, including the training requirements for working in permit-required confined spaces (PRCS) and non-permit-required confined spaces (NPRCS).

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will be issued an AGCMO completion card.

$125 - Members (St. Louis-Kansas City Regional Council Union Carpenters in Good Standing - No Charge)
$250 - Non-Members
