Per MoDOT: Advanced Work Zone Training is required for Contractors
Sec 616.3.3 The contractor shall: (a) Designate an individual as the Work Zone Specialist (WZS) …certification of the WZS’s training, … shall be provided to the engineer at the preconstruction meeting. …The WZS shall have a card and/or certificate that includes the WZS’s name, instructor’s name and title, training entity/agency, date, and signature of the instructor. Re-certification will be required a minimum of every four years starting April 2016.
