Connecting with Clients to Build Strong Relationships
Elizabeth Haberberger, President of Dale Carnegie Training - St. Louis
Ultimately, people do business with the people they like. When dealing with clients, you need to understand all of the specifications and requirements of the project. However, you also need to build trust, create rapport, and communicate effectively in order to make the project successful. While projects come and go, you definitely want clients to have positive experiences working with you and your company so they’ll be more likely to come back to you when more projects progress.
At this session, you’ll learn about the strategies mentioned above to better connect with clients and build relationships that go deeper than just the project you’re working on today. You’ll get beyond why they choose to work with you (because you’re good at what you do) and understand how to connect with others in a way that makes them feel valued and understood.
