Location: Webster University, St. Louis, MO
About the Summit:
AGCMO proudly presents the 2026 Advancement Summit, bringing together industry leaders, public agencies, contractors, developers, and community stakeholders committed to creating pathways to opportunity throughout the St. Louis region.
Guided by our mission of "Advancement for All, Not Just the Few," this year's Summit will focus on how major projects, economic development initiatives, and workforce investments can create meaningful opportunities for small business contractors and the communities they serve.
Attendees will hear from influential leaders representing organizations shaping the future of St. Louis, including regional agencies, economic development organizations, elected officials, and construction industry partners. Discussions will highlight upcoming projects, procurement opportunities, workforce development efforts, and strategies for building a stronger, more inclusive economy.
Community Engagement & Business Opportunity Hour
New this year, the Advancement Summit will feature a dedicated Community Engagement & Business Opportunity Hour designed to connect small business contractors directly with organizations, agencies, and industry leaders committed to expanding economic opportunity throughout the St. Louis region.
In support of AGCMO's mission of "Advancement for All, Not Just the Few," attendees will have the opportunity to engage with representatives from organizations such as Spire, Ameren, MSD, St. Louis Economic Development partners, WePOWER, and other key stakeholders working to create pathways for business growth and inclusion.
Participants can learn about:
- Becoming a preferred vendor or supplier
- Small business, MBE, and WBE certification opportunities
- Procurement and contractor registration processes
- Supplier diversity initiatives
- Upcoming project and contracting opportunities
- Business development and capacity-building resources
- Building relationships with general contractors, developers, and community partners
The Community Engagement & Business Opportunity Hour is designed to move beyond traditional networking by creating meaningful connections, sharing valuable resources, and helping small business contractors identify actionable pathways to participate in the region's growing economy. Attendees will leave with new contacts, practical guidance, and a clearer understanding of how to position their businesses for future opportunities.
Because advancement should be for all, not just a select few.
