Build My Future is NOT your typical career fair or college fair.
Students attending a Build My Future event will have a dramatically different experience – they will have the opportunity to work with tools, operate machinery, learn how to do flatwork, understand how drones are used on construction sites, learn how to weld, operate a crane, and the list goes on and on.
These are meaningful experiences that can help high school freshman, sophomores, juniors and seniors make better decisions about what their future is going to look like.
Students will also have the opportunity to visit with technical schools, community colleges, 4-year universities, unions and employers to better understand the multiple pathways that lead to success in the construction industry.
