AGC of Missouri negotiates 14 different agreements with 6 different crafts covering Commercial, Industrial, and Heavy Highway work across most of the counties in the state of Missouri. 

Agreements covering Commercial and Industrial work in St. Louis City and County and the Missouri counties of Bollinger, Carter, Franklin, Jefferson, Iron, Lincoln, Madison, Reynolds, St. Charles, St. Francois, Ste. Genevieve, Warren, Washington, and Wayne.

Agreements covering Heavy Highway work in the entire state of Missouri except for the MO counties of Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte, and Ray.

Members may voluntarily designate their bargaining rights to AGC of Missouri for the various trades either in part or all of the territorial jurisdictional of the respective unions.  

Our Members benefit from being able to have access to two highly respected and national professional organizations:

  • The Associated General Contractors of America (AGCA) – AGC of Missouri is one of the local chapters of AGCA and members can access information on Human Resources, Labor, contact information on other chapters across the country, and take advantage of all the national resources at your finger tips.
  • The Association of Union Constructors (TAUC) – AGC of Missouri is a Local Employer Organization (LEO) of TAUC. As a LEO member we have access to other LEO members across the country.  TAUC has long standing relationships with the National Building Trades and all the General Presidents.

AGC of Missouri provides the following services for it members:

  • Appointees Trustees to represent management on many Taft-Hartley Funds.
  • Maintain contract expiration dates of the various crafts and wage and fringe information on various crafts.
  • Participates in the Council of Construction Employers (CCE) which consists of the other association in the St. Louis Area.
  • Participates in the labor / management organization known as the St. Louis Construction Cooperative (SLCC) formerly known as PRIDE (Productivity and Responsibility Increases Development and Employment).  This is the oldest labor / management organization in the country.
  • Arranges Pre-Job Conferences especially for projects worked under the National Maintenance Agreement (NMA).
  • Participates in several drug testing programs including the St. Louis Construction Industry Consortium; the Carpenter, Ironworkers, Laborers, and Operators Drug Testing Programs.
